Yonex Astrox 77 Pro - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Question 1

What sets the China National Edition apart from standard Astrox 77 Pro rackets?

Accepted Answer

This exclusive edition features the distinctive China National Team Red colorway while retaining the tour-proven Flex Fuse shock absorption, Namd shaft snapback, and Rotational Generator System balance.

Question 2

What is the optimal string tension range for this racket?

Accepted Answer

The safe electronic stringing range is 19 to 27 lbs for 4U and 20 to 28 lbs for 3U. Pairing it with high-repulsion strings like BG66 Ultimax or BG80 maximizes power.

Question 3

How does the Flex Fuse technology protect the player's arm?

Accepted Answer

Flex Fuse uses a shock-absorbing resin within the frame joint to absorb harsh vibrations upon contact, reducing muscle strain during high-volume smashing sessions.

Question 4

Is this racket suitable for singles or doubles?

Accepted Answer

It excels in both formats. The medium head-heavy balance delivers steep smash power from the rearcourt while maintaining quick defensive handling at the net.

Question 5

How does the medium flex shaft assist in clearing?

Accepted Answer

The Namd graphite fibers store kinetic energy during the stroke and release it with high velocity, making deep backcourt-to-backcourt clears effortless even when under pressure.

Question 6

Is this racket legal for official BWF sanctioned tournaments?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is fully compliant with all Badminton World Federation equipment criteria and certified for all competitive tiers.
